So there's been some sorta tension here in Jen's residence. It's still all about Ark's work at this fast food chain. See Ark's been 50:50 about quitting the job, and all Dev says is to go for it. But Ark doesn't want to regret the decision so up to now, his resignation is undecided.
Is it that bad? Well, yeah. Apparently. Dev here stopped going to work, and he's refusing to blog until Ark does too. Ark told him that he already resigned, but the manager wants him to stay until June 15. Dev says Ark's decision sucks.
So everybody here's stressed out. Max the alien went out for a while to do some "research." Cat Pig won't eat his food, and Dug stopped barking.
I feel everyone's getting pretty lonely. So just to ease the aura a bit, here are a few of the songs I listen to whenever I'm feeling down:
1. "Shake It Out" by Florence and the Machine
-> I discovered this ultimate feel good song during a sad moment in my life. The timing was perfect. I fell in love with the song. And I swear I answered "Shake It Out" when a friend of mine asked me which song I would choose if only one song played on the radio.
-> Discovered this song on the hit TV show Glee (and by the way, Dev and Ark are Gleeks too. That's awesome. Or as Dev would say it: "awesomazing.") I like the original one better though.
3. Some Pop Songs
-> Okay. This one's a bit weird. But instead of wallowing in sadness, I just listen to the usual music I listen to, and I would feel okay afterwards. It's all about boosting your own mood after all.
4. Some Love Songs
-> Hmm... That's just because love is a great feeling. It's an emotion that everyone can relate to, and we can all agree that love numbs all of our senses, right? Yeah, sometimes even pain.
5. "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson
-> This one's sorta new. It's another pop song. But it's got a motivational message, which I think I will get more attached to as I listen to it.
