"First Time Fever!" by DEV

Nope. There is no way in hell this is the first post on this blog. We have like, 30,000 blog entries here.

'Stead of talkin' 'bout that, I will discuss this strange concurrent event that happens to Ark and I (whoa, where did that word come from???)

This is an important trivia about us, so if you're a Dev and Ark fan, you oughtta know this bit of info:

"Ark and I get sick in almost every once-in-a-lifetime event we come across."

(remember this, young Jedi.)

It's like magic or something. We rarely get sick, 'cause we're not even human. So what's even rare-er is for us to get sick AT THE SAME FRICKIN' TIME.

We get sick every time we have to do something for THE FIRST TIME.

Major life happenings, huge changes, or gigantic plot twists. We get sick.

So you might be having an idea now how the talkative duo of Dev and Ark managed an entire WEEK, without posting anything awesomazing. That's because we were sick. It was our first time working, and odd enough, we didn't hit the hospital beds right away.


'STEAD...we got hit by a colorful bunch of diseases within a DAY AFTER OUR FIRST PAYDAY.

Ark and I got fevers, we got sore throats, we got headaches, we got LBM's, and we both swear we suddenly got allergic to the sun. It's Vampirisis. That's a new disease only cured by garlic syrup.

Now we're sorta cured.

BUT IT WASN'T THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO US!

DEV's AWESOMAZING LIST OF ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EVENTS THAT GOT US SICK:

FIRST Communion:

-> I think this first happened to us during our first holy communion. I wasn't so surprised that I got sick that day. But Ark is the holiest thing I've ever seen...and we both rushed to the hospital afterwards.

FIRST Prom:

-> We're lucky enough that almost every high school student gets TWO proms, 'cause we would've never experienced that night if we were only allowed a Junior Prom. Ark and I got sick THE NIGHT BEFORE our glorious prom. That didn't happen with our Senior Prom, and we were like "Whew."

(it wasn't this bad either.)

FIRST High School Graduation:

-> OK. Fine. We only graduate from high school once. But it was a MAJOR event. And as we joyfully tugged on our togas (relieved by the thought that I'm graduating in the first place) LOOK WHAT'S SPROUTING ON OUR BODIES! We've both got measles! On our graduation day! Yey!

(We had to lie to our teachers 'bout that so they'd let us go up the stage. BWAHAHA. Nobody else got sick after that, so our consciences were all clear.)

(our graduation wasn't "sick" in this sense.)

FIRST Day of College:

-> I survived this one. We almost got ourselves sore eyes the day before this major life event. We somehow broke the curse on this one, 'cause it didn't really happen.

And I swear, there are a bunch of other stuff I've just forgotten, but would be updated on this list, if my brain ever reveals that secret to me. What my brain SHOULD remind me is, to break that curse during my college graduation, my first acting awards night, my first trip to Hollywood and my wedding day.
