"Drained" by ARK

Today was a happy day.

Okay I know it may sound a bit common for an introduction, but this is how I should start this particular post. It WAS a happy day. I’m starting to doubt the rest of it though.

I guess I’m just sad about something I found out. Although I have nothing against this idea, I can’t help but doubt why it all happened.

And because I can’t explain this feeling, I will simply tell you why I entitled this post as such.

Remember my post some time ago? The one about my novel? Well, I posted there that I was planning a novel because I was so inspired. But now what I feared (and expected) has already occurred, and I’ve run out of inspiration.

…for the novel, of course. I am always inspired to do other things. But for this novel, I have drained it all. My attention span is too short for a plan so big. It’s something I regret, for the novel would have been epic. See, that’s the thing about me: when I get inspired, I do everything it takes to fulfill it. But once a story inspiration has disappeared, I cease all operation.

On my study table there is a certain folder of crushed dreams…my dreams of ever completing a story. Very rare was the instance when I mustered enough courage and determination to finish one. I HAVE finished a story once. It was a big achievement for I have proved to myself that I am capable of doing such feat. It was not easy too. I am proud because of that work. Someday you might be reading it in class (no, not really. I do not dream that for my work. I dream something bigger for it).

But once again, after finishing this novel plan, I have lost my interest in it. It was simply too boring for me. Maybe someday I can create something spectacular. But that time is not now…not with that story plan.
On my study table lays a folder of unfinished masterpieces. Works that if given enough attention would probably become classics. The unfortunate part is that they were created by me. And with that they bear the curse…an eternal banishment to the rarely visited folder. Come to think of it, I never open that folder anymore.

Okay next time, I’ll try my best. Next time, I will not let good ideas go to waste. They will never again sink down the drain…as long as they keep me inspired.

On another note: I congratulate myself for making this blog with Dev. These ideas are always easy to post. As the inspiration strikes, the blog absorbs it. This is one creation I will probably never get tired of. That’s a possibility even I can assure.

"Brighten Up" by ARK

I was not going to post anything tonight. I was supposed to sleep early, so my mind will be fresh and ready for our midterm exam tomorrow.

But I can’t help but notice the unusually dark aura surrounding my blog these days. I can’t say what it is, but it hasn’t been as bright as before. Is it because of Dev’s post regarding pastas? I do not think so, for I actually like pastas.

But I usually feel a lot better after posting on my blog. I have forgotten to notice this.
I am posting this to feel better. To you, my dear reader, I request you to lighten up. I will try to do this as well. J

I will keep this message short. I just wanted to say that I’m fine, and that I hope you are fine too. Ok, I guess that’s all. I think I’m ready for my exam tomorrow. J

Brighten up and smile. J

"Creepy Pasta!" by DEV

Have you ever heard of the term Creepy Pasta?

Search it on Google, people! Or better yet, try to find it on knowyourmeme.com. According to what I’ve read, it’s the term used for horror stories that have gone viral on the internet. They’re made to “unnerve the reader”. And despite my best effort to stay away from them, I’ve read a few examples. I don’t wanna scare any of you, so might as well look for them yourselves (IF YOU DARE!)

They really do unnerve you. In fact, I’m hoping I could sleep tight later. LOL, just kidding. I’m not as scaredy as Ark. (Wait! What was that sound???)

Nah, it was just Ark’s phone. It beeped so loudly behind me…not that I was scared or anything.

Here are some titles of Creepy Pasta you might want to read:

1.       The Russian Sleep Experiment

-          Not that scary (‘cause I didn’t dare read everything). It makes you afraid of looking at yourself. LOL, it also shows the effect of too little sleep…well, sorta. I mean, normal people don’t turn into mindlessly intelligent cannibals after days without sleep, do they? Hey! Why am I even telling you the story? Point is, you should stay away from too much coffee if you don’t ever want to turn yourself into a mindlessly intelligent cannibal.
Scare Rating: 3 Stars…yeah, I’d give it a 3-star score.

2.       Squidward’s Suicide

-          THIS CREEPED ME OUT! Well, I’ve read this years ago, but I have learned not to reminisce this particular story. I mean, the story is quite simple. Squidward commits suicide (sorry people! That’s how Creepy Pastas are!). End of story. But it’s a twisting tale of darkness and mystery. Why the heck would one of our favorite cartoon characters do that??
Scare Rating: 4! Come to think of it, it’s not so scary after all.

Then again, there are those who tried to make a Creepy Pasta story and failed horribly.

The infamous story “Then Who Was Phone?” is awesomazingly funny. I think they made it like that, but it’s still hilarious.

Here’s the story:

Another hilariously horrible creepy pasta I know is entitled Teh Day Of All Teh Blood. Ready? Here goes...

THIS IS THE STORY OF A DAY WHERE THERE WAS ALL THIS BLOOD. A MAN WAS WALKING AROUND AND BLOOD STARTED COMING OUT OF HIM EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS SO MUCH BLOOD THAT IT FILLED UP AN ELEVATOR. HE WENT TO THE STORE AND THERE WAS JUST BLOOD ALL OVER THE PLACE! PEOPLE WERE SLIPPING IN IT AND THEY WERE ALL GROSSED OUT. HE TRIED TO GO SWIMMING AND ALL OF THE SHARKS WENT NUTS AND BITTENED EVERYBODY. HE GOT CHASED BY ALL THE VAMPIRES EVER. ONE TIME THE BLOOD GOT A KID AND A DOG. AT THE END OF THE DAY EVERYONE DECIDED THEY WOULD SEND HIM TO SPACE SO THAT HE WOULD STOP GETTING BLOOD EVERY WHERE. THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT THE MAN WAS YOU!!! (OR HE WAS A LADY IF YOU ARE A LADY) AND YOU FORGOT THAT THIS HAPPENED.

SCARY! KILL ME NOW. LOL. I hope you have a good night’s sleep later folks. J
