"Creepy Pasta!" by DEV

Have you ever heard of the term Creepy Pasta?

Search it on Google, people! Or better yet, try to find it on knowyourmeme.com. According to what I’ve read, it’s the term used for horror stories that have gone viral on the internet. They’re made to “unnerve the reader”. And despite my best effort to stay away from them, I’ve read a few examples. I don’t wanna scare any of you, so might as well look for them yourselves (IF YOU DARE!) 

They really do unnerve you. In fact, I’m hoping I could sleep tight later. LOL, just kidding. I’m not as scaredy as Ark. (Wait! What was that sound???)

Nah, it was just Ark’s phone. It beeped so loudly behind me…not that I was scared or anything.

Here are some titles of Creepy Pasta you might want to read:

1.       The Russian Sleep Experiment

-          Not that scary (‘cause I didn’t dare read everything). It makes you afraid of looking at yourself. LOL, it also shows the effect of too little sleep…well, sorta. I mean, normal people don’t turn into mindlessly intelligent cannibals after days without sleep, do they? Hey! Why am I even telling you the story? Point is, you should stay away from too much coffee if you don’t ever want to turn yourself into a mindlessly intelligent cannibal.

Scare Rating: 3 Stars…yeah, I’d give it a 3-star score.

2.       Squidward’s Suicide

-          THIS CREEPED ME OUT! Well, I’ve read this years ago, but I have learned not to reminisce this particular story. I mean, the story is quite simple. Squidward commits suicide (sorry people! That’s how Creepy Pastas are!). End of story. But it’s a twisting tale of darkness and mystery. Why the heck would one of our favorite cartoon characters do that??

Scare Rating: 4! Come to think of it, it’s not so scary after all.

Then again, there are those who tried to make a Creepy Pasta story and failed horribly.

The infamous story “Then Who Was Phone?” is awesomazingly funny. I think they made it like that, but it’s still hilarious.

Another hilariously horrible creepy pasta I know is entitled Teh Day Of All Teh Blood. Ready? Here goes...

THIS IS THE STORY OF A DAY WHERE THERE WAS ALL THIS BLOOD. A MAN WAS WALKING AROUND AND BLOOD STARTED COMING OUT OF HIM EVERYWHERE. THERE WAS SO MUCH BLOOD THAT IT FILLED UP AN ELEVATOR. HE WENT TO THE STORE AND THERE WAS JUST BLOOD ALL OVER THE PLACE! PEOPLE WERE SLIPPING IN IT AND THEY WERE ALL GROSSED OUT. HE TRIED TO GO SWIMMING AND ALL OF THE SHARKS WENT NUTS AND BITTENED EVERYBODY. HE GOT CHASED BY ALL THE VAMPIRES EVER. ONE TIME THE BLOOD GOT A KID AND A DOG. AT THE END OF THE DAY EVERYONE DECIDED THEY WOULD SEND HIM TO SPACE SO THAT HE WOULD STOP GETTING BLOOD EVERY WHERE. THE SCARIEST PART IS THAT THE MAN WAS YOU!!! (OR HE WAS A LADY IF YOU ARE A LADY) AND YOU FORGOT THAT THIS HAPPENED.

SCARY! KILL ME NOW. LOL. I hope you have a good night’s sleep later folks. J
