Pardon me if this makes no sense. I just wanted to post a short story here.
...
Once there was a cute little turtle, who one starry night, hatched from his egg. Little Turtle looked around the beach and saw nobody else. His mother and his brothers were gone. Beside him he saw cracked eggshells and realized that his brothers have left him a long time ago. He hatched himself a bit too late...and now his brothers were somewhere else.
"THERE." Little Turtle was astounded by the sight of the great blue sea. "My brothers went...there?"
Little Turtle was sad because he was all alone in the sandy beach. Plus, he was too scared to go to the sea alone. It looked so scary to Little Turtle, though his instinct told him he had to be there... He had to rejoin his brothers.
Little Turtle just stared at the sea, contemplating on what he should do. Eventually he gave up. He just sat there, staring at the sea, not even moving a bit. He stared at it all day. He stared at it all night.
Eventually, Little Turtle fell in love with the sea. He loved how it glittered with the sun's rays every morning, and how dark and elegant it looked at night. Oftentimes he looked at the moon too, and laughed at how wobbly it's watery reflection looked.
But he stayed where he was. Little Turtle remained a distant lover. He was still too afraid to go there alone.
Even when the Crabs came to the beach and tried to eat him, Little Turtle stayed. He simply drew back his head, arms and legs, and silently prayed inside his shell. He survived every one of the Crabs' attacks, for he was very determined. He was always using the sea as a motivation. "I couldn't die" said Little Turtle, "not until I've seen the sea one last time".
One day, Little Turtle got a wild idea-- an idea he never paid attention to before. He wanted to get closer to the sea. He wanted to see it closer. Little Turtle wanted more than just a glimpse of the sea. For the first time, he wanted to feel the sea.
He walked slowly towards it, in what seemed like an eternity. But days passed and he felt he was getting closer. The Crabs still came sometimes, to see if Little Turtle had become any weaker, but each passing day, the turtle's determination grew stronger. He was getting closer to his love...and nothing will stop him from getting there.
Little Turtle eventually reached the shoreline. He noticed for the first time how the sea danced. It rocked back and forth in large waves that sometimes kissed Little Turtle's face. He laughed as a wave splashed onto his face. "So cold!" Little Turtle was delighted.
He wondered why he was afraid of the sea in the first place, and found that he had forgotten the reason. Little Turtle did not look back. He touched and embraced the sea, and felt limitless joy. The water hugged and welcomed him...and for the first time, Little Turtle felt like he was home.
