"Epilogue" by ARK

I guess I slept too much. I slept through the entire Apocalypse.

Hehe...Of course I'm kidding. I always knew the world wouldn't end today. Dev thought so too, but he proceeded to do what he listed on his blog post yesterday.

If the world ended, then this would be the epilogue of our story. Good thing none of us committed suicide beforehand, right? Well people have learned. During the previous "Apocalypses" many people ended their meaningful lives just to avoid the wrath of the unknown. But ironically, everybody else lived to tell the tale.

People are just laughing about it now. It's all over the internet. But I know deep down their smiles are sighs of relief. If a power outage or a sudden meteor shower occurred today, I bet some people would still panic despite saying "they knew it wasn't true all along."

At least, this is true for me. Good thing there are no meteors in sight tonight.

Let's just say I am thankful and relieved that today is much more beautiful than what the Mayans have predicted. As Dev would say, it's "time to move the movie '2012' to the comedy section."

I'm glad all of you are alive. I'm glad we can all continue living. I don't want to return to Heaven just yet. I still have a mission.

So live this so-called Epilogue with a smile. Always live your days like it's your last. No, don't take this literally...I bet Dev would. But please do live your lives to the fullest.
