“Change is inevitable, and it’s what keeps life moving.”
All the other students are beginning their school year
already. And I’m stuck here, waiting for two more weeks before I start another
year of college. That’s not exactly a bad thing. I can savor the last few days
of freedom before getting trapped in paperwork again.
Being stuck here alone has made me realize a few things (I know,
I realize a lot of things), like how everything is changing again. Some changes
are temporary. Some are a bit more permanent. It’s scary and exciting at the
same time (if Dev heard this he’d probably come up with a lame new word like “scare-citing”
or “excary”. He likes doing that, and he thinks it’s “awesomazing”. It’s not)
I enrolled myself early today. That signals a change. The
transition between summer vacation and a new school year has begun.
I know what to expect: Same old classmates, but different
challenges to face. Same old classroom, but harder lessons.
Right now I’m bracing myself for a certain change. No, I’m
actually looking forward to it. I’m not gonna say what it is, ‘cause this isn’t
my diary. But I’m willing to tell you that I’m an open-minded person, and I’m
strong enough to handle what’s coming.
I’m excited for the future! Are you? I hope you’re as
excited as I am. Change is inevitable, and it’s what keeps life moving.
Let’s all be strong and ready to face all of the changing
seasons.
It's getting cold outside... Look's like the weather's changing too. : )
