"You're Not Ready!" by DEV

I don’t wanna go to school! I’m never gonna leave my bed. I’ll stay here until summer comes back.

I wanna scream that out. But I can’t, can I? I mean school’s inevitable. It’s hard to dodge. And much like you, I’m not ready to go back there. Not yet.

So I came up with this list of things that will tell if you are not ready for school.

How unready are you? 

1.       You are yet to enroll. Or like me, you don’t plan to.

2.       Your bag is full…of all the things you used last year. Your dusty notebooks, your empty pens… clean up your bag, dude!

3.       You still sleep at 4 in the morning and wake up at 3 in the afternoon. Adjusting that body clock would be like hell.

4.       You haven’t finished playing Diablo 3 and Skyrim. Skyrim (for those who don’t know) is impossible to finish QUICKLY. So if you’re still planning to finish that, might as well quit school.

5.       You’re stuck in summer school…and it’s not even summer anymore.

6.       You’ve forgotten how to go to your school.

7.       You’re transferring to a school in an unknown planet, and your classmates are aliens. 

8.       You still don’t know how to read… Meh, you’re reading this awesomazing blog aren’t you?

9.       You’re in prison and will be stuck there for 5 more years…when all your friends have already graduated.

10.   You’re bed has turned into a magnet, and you’ve turned into Iron Man. 

11.   Your parents have grounded you from going outside…including school.

12.   You decided to become a professional street beggar. 

13.   Your teddy bear will miss you.

14.   You haven’t bought another alarm clock after “accidentally” smashing the last one.

15.   You’re school was burned to ashes. Run away now. I’m sure you’ll be a prime suspect.

If you said ‘YES’ to at least one of these, you are TOTALLY unready for school. My suggestion: Don’t bother! Just wait for the next summer like I would.
